Self Development and how to harness it Self development is extremely important to the continuous growth of every individual on a daily basis. Every individual is blessed with talents and these talents reside within all of us.
Arguably, the talents of some individuals are immeasurably superior than others. But that is immaterial. What is unquestionably the most important factor to recognize is that many of these talents don’t come to the fore unless they are tapped. This may require a process of cultivating good
thinking. And the good news is you have the power to do it.
As Alexander Graham Bell said, “What this power is I cannot say; all I know is that it exists and it becomes available only when a man is in that state of mind in which he knows exactly what he wants and is fully determined not to quit until he finds it”
This brings me to the perennial question. What is self development?
Self development is a step by step process that an individual embarks upon to aid his or her own learning and development. In order words, you are solely responsible for taking action to develop yourself mentally, physically, spiritually as well as financially.
As important as self development is, it is quite interesting to note that many people show distaste for their current state, yet increasingly struggle or are unwilling to find a fix for their problems. They have dreams but those dreams fail to materialise because they either lack belief, they entertain fear or they are simply fed up trying again. As a result, those dreams follow them to the grave, unfulfilled.
Your learning should be an every day occurrence. When you stop learning, you stop growing. And when you stop growing, you stop living. Don't settle for an average or mediocre life. The power to live life to your full potential is in your hands.
A twist that I found at
personal growth lesson also assists in teaching goal setting where you can feel what your results are so that success comes effortlessly.
